Everyone at ALLIES IN WAR would like to pay tribute to all those people who gave their life and also to all the Veterans who survived the terrible battle in WW2 1939 to 1945.

Also We wish to remind people of the terrible loss of Servicemen and Women the Americans lost whilst approaching the Cornish Coast during the build up whilst practising how the troops would be landing on the beaches of Normandy in World War Two.

Nicknamed Operation Tiger

Allies in War will be a continuous project, updating as we acquire more Military History from sources around the World
